The Plough is a gorgeous village pub quickly gaining a reputation as the best place to relax and enjoy oneself in the area. It has a classic country feel, whilst being very up to date in terms of its superb country food and second-to-none service and atmosphere.
Set in the picturesque Somerset village of Wrington, The Plough Inn is an easy drive south of Bristol and we are also close to Cheddar Gorge and Bath.
The Plough has been brought up to date with an extensive refurbishment, in the last three years, including a beautiful garden restaurant at the back, whilst losing none of its old world appeal. The pub itself has a beautiful dark wood bar area and two distinct dining areas with two roaring fires for the Winter. We have extensive front and back gardens, plus Boules Pitch and a very popular summer boules league. There is also a very large car park to the rear.
We are extremely proud of our delicious food, which is cooked fresh every day by our team of top chefs using only the best local free range ingredients. Our aim is to run the best pub in the area, with great food and a very warm welcome, where people can eat, drink, talk and above all enjoy themselves.
The Plough serves some of the best food, beers, ales, bitters and
wine in the West Country. Find out what’s on at The Plough.
